Bronagh Starrs BA Dip Psychotherapy MIAHIP is Director of Blackfort Adolescent Gestalt Institute and principal faculty for the Post-Qualifying Diploma in Gestalt Adolescent Psychotherapy. Bronagh is a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, writer and trainer, specialising in working with children, adolescents and their families. She is an adolescent development specialist and has considerable experience throughout Ireland. She also teaches and presents internationally on the developmental implication of trauma on the adolescent journey. Bronagh’s writing has also been published in various Psychotherapy Journals, including The British Gestalt Journal.

Emerging Adulthood & Failure to Launch Killarney, Co. Kerry November 28th & 29th 2015 Eligible for CPD hours In this training we will focus on the phenomenon of Failure to Launch which is experienced during late adolescence. As young people move gradually towards the next stage of Emerging Adulthood (approximately 18-25 years) they can present with classical adolescent behaviour. Their behaviour and attitude indicate that they are failing to take themselves seriously in the world and /or are hindered by overwhelming levels of shame and breakdown. This workshop will offer an in-depth, understanding of how to support these young adults gain insight and transcend the complications which may thwart their developmental path |
| This workshop is suitable for psychotherapists, counsellors, psychologists and other professionals working with approximately 18-25 year olds. There is no restriction for trainees/pre-accredited professionals |
